This is our very own space where inclusion and empathy are at the forefront.
While we are aware of how valuable a social media presence is, particularly as a small business that has always refrained from conventional advertising, we are shifting away to slower forms of communicating with excitement and intention.
Here you’ll find a space with no hateful rhetoric, no homogeneous algorithms, no suspiciously relevant ads that imply an unsettling level of surveillance culture -
(no, IG, I do not want to buy a diaper bag just because I sang along with “baby got back” on my drive to work).
Instead of scrolling through unwanted distractions, you can look forward to seeing all kinds of incredible people in equally incredible clothes!

Please know, we are keenly aware of the frightening time we’re living in, with escalating attacks on queer, POC & trans folks. At Duchess we are diametrically opposed to the terror our community is being subjected to.
We want you to know that you are not alone.
As a queer-centered business, our primary form of resistance is to continue our work of creating a safe space for all folks to experience clothing that celebrates your body and reflects your true self.
We’re looking forward to sharing our unique perspectives on fashion and self expression, while engaging more directly with you - our community.
